History

The construction of the building began in 1907 and was completed by 1910. It was originally named the Sarah Davis Missionary Training School. By 1912 it was renamed The College of Missions. At that time it was the only missionary training school in the U.S. to provide graduate level courses. The College of Missions even housed Butler University students as they studied and began training to be Missionaries.
